Spectre Steel is a family owned steel frame and truss company. Our combined backgrounds are construction and engineering based, so we understand what goes into your project!

What can we offer?
We have capability to provide light gauge steel wall frames, floor trusses and roof trusses. We offer customisable frames and trusses, with options to provide electrical and plumbing penetrations within wall studs for ease of running services.
Our truss system has the added ability to provide tophat floor and roof trusses if required, which have a better strength to weight ratio than the standard Cee purlin trusses for those applications where span length is critical.
Our system can provide:
Wall frames with studs at: 450 or 600 centres &
Trusses at 600, 900 or 1200mm centres.
Our floor trusses can be custom built to facilitate wet area setdowns without having to pack out the remainder of the floor.
We are also happy to just provide wallframes or floor trusses or roof trusses for your project if you only need part of the framing.
We can also provide “loose” studs in frame packs for you to make frames onsite for projects where you might be joining onto an existing dwelling and need a little bit more flexibility at the join to make it work.
